Ministry History Briefs

September 2006

The Divine Truths Bible Institute and School of Evangelism starts up with 12 students enrolled.  The Holy Ghost began moving amongst the students almost immediately.

October 2006

The school choir is formed under the leadership of Bro. Bobby Bailey.  They adopt the name "Pentecostal Fire", and begin ministering at various churches.

November 2006

Bro. and Sis. David Doyle come by and help our student with special classes on children evangelism.  The students lead in a Kids Crusade and more than 100 children show up.  It was a wonderful time.

December 2006

A group of 10 brethren from Texas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma, led by Bro. Leroy Muncy show up and begin some extreme makeover work on the school grounds.  They also ministered in different churches and bible classes and brought a good bit of goodies for the school and other brethren.

January 2007

Our ten students return for second semester and another young lady of 18 years of age joins the student body.  Bro. James Martin came by to be a blessing to us.  He gave us a week of teaching, preaching, and godly example, dealing with the subjects on prayer, fasting, and intercession.  We desire to put into practice what he put into our hearts.  We also had the privilege of a weeks visit of the Dappen family.  They are a large family who do mission work in the state of Guerrero.  Their dedication and devotion to God and family was very much of an inspiration to all of us.

February 2007

 We just had a revival with Bro. Laudell and there was a tremendous move of the Holy Ghost.Although the devil has tried to discourage us we are continuing to trust in The Lord. Also we have started going to the prison here in Matehuala and ministering there.The Lord has really helped us in all we have done here.

 

April 2007

Graduation was held and 10 young people have returned to help out in different areas of ministry under the supervisions

of their pastors.  The Benner family moves back to San Luis Potosí to better serve as pastors and look for a more suitable 

location to start a school of evangelism afresh. 

JULY 2007

Bro. Rodrigo Nataren Cruz and family from Chiapas come to join the ministerial staff as national pastor. 

SPRING 2008

Brethren come from Florida and Mississippi to help find property for future bible school.  A lot close to the present church was chosen and soon after was purchased.  Within a few short weeks footings were dug out and poured for the construction of dormitories.

JUNE 2008

Bro. Bobby Bailey resigns his post of youth pastor to do missions work in Nicaragua.

MARCH 2009

Brethren from Bowling Green, FL along with Zane Estis, came for a week of work.  They constructed a partion wall around the church property, giving us protection and a much nicer looking compound.

APRIL 2009

In the rancho of Chilarillo, we were able to pour a cement roof on a 20' by 40' building that will be a satellite church of Fountain of Mercy.
